Minorities in Cancer Research Council (MICR) 2026-2029 Elections

The Minorities in Cancer Research (MICR) Council acts as an advisory body to the AACR leadership on issues of concern to MICR members and is responsible for spearheading the activities of MICR through its Committees. The MICR Council is eager to add additional committed members to this leadership group who will support its efforts to increase the participation and visibility of scientists at all career levels, impact the planning of programs and services that foster the career development and professional advancement of scientists, and provide input to global issues addressing the disparities in cancer incidence and mortality faced by the medically underserved.   • Eligible candidates: Active, Emeritus and Honorary members who support the mission of MICR.
  • Nomination Process: Candidates are required to submit a letter of Nomination.

Registration must be completed by Friday, November 14, 2025.
