Women in Cancer Research Council (WICR) 2027-2030 Elections
The AACR Women in Cancer Research Council (WICR) represents a community of more than 29,000 members dedicated to advancing the careers, visibility, and leadership of women in cancer research.
Eligibility Requirements
AACR-WICR members who hold Active, Emeritus, or Honorary membership status are eligible to apply. There are no residency requirements for service on the Council. We encourage applications from WICR members of all backgrounds and nationalities and from all sectors, including academia, industry, and government, who are committed to strengthening the AACR's engagement with and support of women in cancer research.
Individuals selected to serve on the Council are expected to attend the AACR Annual Meetings in 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 at their own expense and to actively participate in WICR programs and initiatives throughout their term of service. Council members are also expected to engage fully in Council activities both during the Annual Meetings and year-round in support of WICR’s mission.
